BE Seminar Overview:
The Gear Up Business Entities seminar is designed by tax practitioners for tax practitioners. It is the most comprehensive update and review of tax and economic issues facing small businesses. This course includes coverage of recent legislation, case law developments, and relevant notices, announcements, revenue rulings and procedures for cutting edge practitioners. Among other topics, learn about the latest IRC §174 research expense and Research Credit developments, and help clients take advantage of the Small Employer Pension Plan Credit.
1040 Seminar Overview:
This comprehensive course covers key tax issues for completing complicated individual returns, including in-depth coverage of recent legislation, case law developments, and relevant notices, announcements, revenue rulings and procedures to help the busy practitioner stay current. Discuss election year tax bills and proposals for a new presidential term, and get tax planning strategies based on new laws and proposed changes to help your clients. Speakers are all practicing preparers who share practical tips to help you get ready for this tax season.
BE and Day One 1040 Speaker:
Tim Sundstrom is a CPA and financial planner located in Broomall, PA (suburban Philadelphia) where he helps entrepreneurs and business executives with tax and financial decisions. His firm services a diverse clientele with a specialty in the construction and entertainment industries. Prior to starting his own business, he was a manager with a national accounting firm. Tim is the former president of the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants. He has been a lecturer with Gear Up Seminars for 18+ years and has authored several publications concerning tax and financial planning.
Day Two 1040 Speaker:
Brian Eisenmenger has over 28 years of experience serving corporate executives and successful small business owners with their tax planning needs. In addition, Brian serves many families with preparing estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns. Brian has a Bachelor of Science in business from Eastern Illinois University. Brian has taught fiduciary income taxation in the Northern Illinois University Master of Science in Taxation program where he holds his master’s degree and is also an instructor for CeriFi.
