Seminar Overview:

This comprehensive course covers key tax issues for completing complicated individual returns, including in-depth coverage of recent legislation, case law developments, and relevant notices, announcements, revenue rulings and procedures to help the busy practitioner stay current. Speakers are all practicing preparers who share practical tips to help you get ready for this tax season.

Speakers:

Richard Parchman is a sole practitioner in San Antonio, Texas, specializing in tax-oriented consulting and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, executives, and closely held entities. He previously served as the head of Private Client Services practice at Arthur Andersen in San Antonio. He has been serving clients for over 30 years and has been a Gear Up speaker since 2005.

Stan Pollock received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge in 1980. After working for large international accounting firms, he now runs a two-office full Service Accounting and Tax practice in Oakland and San Francisco, California. Stanley C. Pollock, CPA focuses on high net worth individuals and small businesses, providing quality, personalized financial and tax guidance. We are a full service CPA firm providing excellent assistance in financial matters. When needed, we work with a team of professionals to guide our clients through the financial maze of life. In addition to the practice, Stan travels around the country teaching professional continuing education courses in accounting and taxation on a regular basis. He has been a regular guest on a local radio talk show discussing taxes, been quoted several times in local papers, and he previously taught accounting courses at junior colleges in Southern California.
